Plot The Course Back On Track
Aug 21, 2016
Talented galloper Plot The Course is not far off resuming hoping to recapture the form of last spring. Down to trial at Cranbourne Training Complex on Monday 22nd August over 990 metres the early indications are that he is back to his normal self. Need to forget his last campaign where nothing went right and the plug was pulled after only 3 runs. The extra time is a big plus as he enters his 5 year old year lightly raced and ready to pick up from the form of last spring which saw him win in devastating fashion first up and on Bendigo Cup day followed by a close second to Berisha on Oaks Day. The campaign ended as unplaced favourite in the Pakenham cup not disgracing himself in finishing 5th. The jury is still out on what is going to be his preferred distance. We are hoping that it will be answered this time in with the Cranbourne Cup the ultimate goal if he can get back to the potential he has shown.
