Cyclone Andy Back In Form

Aug 03, 2015

Stable stalwart Cyclone Andy notched up win number 6 at Cranbourne recently his first since an injury enforced lay off. Everything fell into place for the rising 7 year old who once was an absolute swimmer on heavy tracks he now seems best suited to surfaces in the slow range. Dale Smith seemed to spark Cyclone Andy up and it was great to see him really flatten out and hit the line. A gut buster first up at Sandown at the start of his campaign maybe the reason why it has taken him so long to find his best form. The plan is to line up in a benchmark 78 over 1400m at Flemington on Saturday where he won earlier in his career and if he was able to improve a length on his last start with a drop in weight he should be competitive again.
