Boardies to Beanies
Jun 17, 2015
Plot The Course will head 40 minutes up the road to Seymour for a Benchmark 70 over the 1600m rather than endure an 18 hour float trip to the Gold Coast for what looked like a very suitable 1800m 3 year old listed race. So unfortunately the boardies have been put away for summer and the beanies remain in tact for the owners of the promising gelding. The quick rise in class from a 5.5 length maiden victory to a Benchmark 70 normally would be avoided, however the manner in which he won and the time recorded equated to some 9 lengths faster than the 64 rating race later that day. Plot The Course has trained on well since his last start victory and he looks a good chance to make it back to back wins with Steven King taking over the reins from the injured Michael Walker.
