Remount Wangaratta

Oct 23, 2014

Handsome Grey Remount heads to Wangaratta on Friday in a competitive 1100m. Asked to do too much early on debut the big boy did a great job to hold on for 5th. It was a great effort given that he is even lucky to make it to the track. The son of Dash for Cash suffered to what appeared to be a career ending injury courtesy of an innoculous slip in the paddock. The 12 months off did wonders and gave Remount the opportunity to not only get over his injury but also time to furnish into a magnificent thoroughbred. He like many others in the stable are thriving up at Barree Kilmore and this once nervy timid horse is much more relaxed these days. Remount will continue to improve with racing and it wont be long before he breaks his maiden. Long term aim the Greys race on Oaks day 2015!
