Remount Restarts

Aug 23, 2014

Stylish Dash for Cash Gelding Remount has come through his first jumpout in fine fashion winning over 800m at Seymour. He has had alot of luck all bad early days. After spending his early days reared with a number of bluebloods. Remount was earmarked as a Syndication prospect. The discovery of him only having half his manhood forced a rethink and a lease arrangement was organised. After a introductory preparation at the stables Remount managed to slip in the paddock and injure himself. Left to nature the handsome grey spent 12 months roaming a paddock of his owner and breeder Frank Ford. In this time he furnished and developed into a magnificent individual. Now a gelding, given time and with fingers crossed Remount returned to work to see if he had overcome what looked like a career ending injury. A full preparation including two jumpouts indicated that the big grey was worth a try. A subsequent spell and a relocation to the tranquill surrounds of Kilmore has seen the horse thrive. Remount trialled in good fashion at Seymour and is getting closer to a racetrack debut which was looking very unlikely 12 months ago.
