Trotter Racing has three runners over the Easter weekend. Toyed kicks off precedings tonight in a 1200m maiden at Cranbourne. The filly has had a break between her last run at Stony Creek and is ready to run a forward race from a good draw. Michael Walker has returned from New Zealand takes the ride. The enigmatic Rockitellie returns to the track on Easter Sunday at Mornington. This filly has shown enormous ability but has failed to produce her best on raceday. Her preparation leading in has been hard to gauge but her recent trial on Monday suggested that if she puts her best foot forward then she will be in the money. Michelle Payne takes the ride and we are hoping the female touch will unlock the filly's potential. The last runner for the weekend is Cyclone Andy he has drawn the carpark over the 1400m at Caulfield. The race is virtually a carbon copy of the field he faced last start where he finished only 1.8 lengths from the winner when luckless. Tom Sadler takes the ride and if he can overcome the barrier he will be in the finish especially if there is some rain about. Wishing everyone a safe and happy Easter.
