Ducking off to Donald

Oct 07, 2012

The Trotterracing roadshow heads to Donald with all horses placed to advantage. Donald appears to have missed the weekend rain and the team will find there preferred dry tracks.

Shenanigans finally gets a run after being stranded at the altar unable to get a run. He heads to Donald in the 0-58 after Benalla was called off. He finds himself in a very suitable race and hopefully can get a good run in transit  and won't be far away.

Summertime Gal is first up after one run last time in when she pulled up shin sore. She trialled very well at Cranbourne recently and will sport blinkers for the first time. Drawn awkward looking for Ruth Bradley to slot in and give her a good run. Hopefully she can run up to her trial but she is a filly that will improve with experience and over 1600m.

Alittlevolcanic and Arching Dragon are coming off disappointing runs last start. Alittlevolcanic was never given a chance last time after a tough run 3 deep on the speed. Back to 1000m hopefully there will be plenty of speed and she can be ridden quieter in the hope that she can finish off better like her earlier runs this time in. Arching Dragon needs to lift and hopefully it will be at Donald. Never got into it last start and hopefully ridden more positive she can run an improved race.

All the best to our owners with runners Monday
