Long Weekend of Runners

Aug 16, 2012

The weekend kicks off on Friday with Rockitellie resuming at Geelong over 1200m in a 3 year old maiden. This is a good race for her to kick off her campaign knowing that she has plenty of improvement to come. Shenanigans the best bred horse in Devon Meadows is sweating on a run as first emergency in the 1100m maiden in the following race. He has drawn perfectly and is ready to run a forward race after being knocked over at the start last time and never given the opportunity to get into the race.

Cyclone Jess is scheduled to step out for the first time on Sunday at Bendigo in an 1100m 3 year old maiden. The half sister to the highly promising Cyclone Andy has drawn the car park in a competitive field.

Arching Dragon finds herself in a winnable race at Echuca Monday over 1400m in 0-58 company. Her last start run was good and that should bring her up to the mark fitness wise to be in the finish on Monday.

So plenty of kilometres to be covered over the next 4 days chasing a victory good luck to all the owners and stable followers that will be having a few bob on the team.
