Trifecta of Filly's Ready to kick off

Aug 12, 2012

Trotter racing will be stepping out 3 promising filly's in the coming weeks after they performed well at last weeks jump outs. The stable was fortunate to have leading jockey and astute judge Dwayne Dunn ride in the trials giving very valuable assessments and advice on the progress of the team. Rockitellie has developed into a magnificent athletic filly and has settled down considerably this time in. The filly by underrated stallion Al Samer was aimed at the 100k Autumn Plate at her first campaign but was coming to the end of her preparation but showed enough to suggest that she would come back better next time in. Given a soft trial last week Rockitellie is ready to resume(scratched12/8 @cranbourne due to heavy 10)

After a devastating win at the first night meeting by Kaitoa plans were in place for bigger and better things. Unfortunately these plans never had a chance to be fulfilled by the handsome son of Econsul who succumbed to an infection that despite a long battle and expert veterinary care it eventually claimed his life. This was a devastating loss for all the owners and the stable that had nurtured "Junior " since he was a foal. So the emergence of Kaitoa's full sister stable named Symbol has given all the owners some consolation and hope that she maybe able to pick up where her big brother left off. As she has grown and matured she is developing into a female version of her brother. Her track work and first trial indicates that she has ability. A first up run is not far away.

Another Cyclone has blown in namely Cyclone Jess. A half sister to the very promising sprinter Cycone Andy the filly is by Old Deuteronomy. She gained her barrier certificate during the week and showed excellent gate speed. Cyclone Jess is ready to hit the track over the next few weeks and is one to watch.
