Cyclone Impresses in Town
Jun 14, 2012
Cyclone Andy showed that he is well and truly up to city class with a terrific run in the Le Pines funeral 3 year old Handicap. Dropping back to 1000m after his last start third over 1300m at Cranbourne Cyclone Andy continues to improve with each start. The stable has a high opinion of the flashy chestnut and he has already caught the eye of many astute judges with his promising performances thus far. The 1000m race was further education for Andy as it was the first time that he had been asked to settle in a race. Glen Boss was effusive in his appraisal of the horse given this was the first time that he had sat on him. He believes that he is a city class sprinter in the making. Given the strength of the field and the amount of improvement still to come it is not out of the question.
